This is the first part of this half-hour special that aired back in 1999 on tv stations that aired IL state lottery drawings and Illinois' Luckiest during that time. It was co-hosted by Linda Kollmeyer and Jeanne Sparrow with Bill Lapp assisting. The first game called Rolling Thunder which was previously used on Flamingo Fortune as Steeple Chase and later on The Big Spin as Camelot's Riches. Sadly this was the only time Rolling Thunder was used in Illinois. This special was produced by Jonathan Goodson Productions.

  • Even though I live in Missouri, I still watched these episodes on WGN. I watched this just now and wondered, "Where's Mark Goodman?!"

  • @USALionLeo My guess would be that Mark Goodman wasn't a native of Illinois.

  • @USALionLeo Mark wasn't a native of Illinois so he couldn't be one of the hosts.

  • @LeotheTiger1776 OK, so he moved to Philadelphia in 1952 and just happened to stay there for 12 years. He's actually from New York.

  • @bri2kprods He came from New York City, to be exact.

Next to Geoff Edwards, he's gotta be one of the best emcees of a lottery game show I've seen.

  • @bri2kprods Well Dick Clark wasn't a native of Pennsylvania but he did the Pennsylvania Lottery show.

  • Actually, the host of that show, Rick Tamblyn (who goes by "unclefun27" on YT), posted a clip montage, of the intro, and him interviewing contestants.

And I'd love to see full episodes of F&F myself. :-)

  • Really? That's interesting to know. I do think he does a better job than some other hosts I've seen.

I have yet to see an episode of Fun & Fortune, the official lottery game show of my home state, Missouri. I doubt anyone's posted those yet, but that's okay.
