Oh, so emo was just another term for punk. Well, honestly emo doesn't sound like punk anymore. It's closer to pop now. I mean who started the whole "cut myself because I'm depressed" nonsense. It's idiotic. That's why I don't like emo music (or emo people for that matter). It's pathetic.
