Thanksgiving Recipe - Sweet Potato Pie with a Moroccan Twist

The Holiday season is back! When I first moved to the U.S. a few years ago, my favorite Holiday was Thanksgiving. The food is just delicious: roasted turkey, cramberry sauce, mashed potatoes, pies! As you know, I love desserts!!! so today I want to show you how to make a traditional Thanksgiving dessert Sweet Potato Pie with a Moroccan twist! In Morocco, we use almonds and orange blossom water in most of our desserts, so what I did is incorporate roasted almonds to the pie crust and flavored the filling with orange blossom water!!! This dessert will definitely be a winner in your Thanksgiving table!

Alia, par quoi je peux remplacer les biscuits ? Tu sais bien qu'au Maroc, ya peu de choix. Idem pour evaporated milk, je fais quoi ? :)

ahhhhh.. I dont know alia. Im from the south(USA) where sweet potatoe pie comes from. This takes a lot of risk. We may have to call in the Southern Sweet Potatoe Pie Committe. LOL

But i hve a question, y did u use two different sugars for filling??

Is it okay if i use only white sugar??

@chocopie1991 the brown sugar has a deep flavor that the white sugar does not have. so mixing them gives a different taste to the filling.
