  • @shimanchunutakara she is a women

  • she makes surfing sound not fun. but nice vid.

  • really liking your videos, lots of great info

  • This was far from pointless. One of the turnoffs to learning is worrying about ticking off people who know what they are doing. I really liked learning these simple rules so I can learn without worrying about upsetting someone without realizing it.

  • OK. This is almost correct. to quote, "..If you stand up first, it's your wave." Only if the boards are the same. I ride shortboards and longboards. If you are on a 9'3" and are paddling against a guy on a 6'4", let him have the wave if he's on the peak. I've seen people do that and it just causes problems in the water and rightly so.

  • im not saying this video is pointless...but surfing is all about fun if you go out there and respect the waves, respect the locals, you may get in there way once or twice, all you have to do is be polite and be genuine, dont big yourself up if your learning and im sure you shouldn't have too many problems, but im not sure what people hate more, locals who think they own the sea or swell boards learning...
