Here is the wonderful Czech tenor Leo Slezak (1873-1946) singing Che gelida manina from Puccini's opera, La Boheme. Sung in German.
In this recording Slezak was only 32, but his voice later darkened sufficiently for him to become one of the foremost Otellos of his age.
Recorded in 1905.
A wonderful voice, and a great Austrian (Moravian) Tenor German native language!
