im sorry im late but happy MLK day, and i have the preform this in my school for black history month.

MLK's bravery and the bravery of the "little" people who marched with him, supported him - it astounds me. I lived in Mississippi from 1974 to 1980, and the racism, the hatred was so open. People say it's changed, and if it has, it's thanks to the those people who marched, who voted, who were not afraid. Even though there was much discourse in the Civil Rights Movement when MLK died, what would the US be like today, if he had lived and kept on making us face our lies. He changed the world.

@nomisaurr Who are you, nomisaurr? Are you Pete Seeger? If not, I wonder why you claim the right to speak in his name? I wonder if you like the song? If you consider yourself a peacemaker?
But, I bet you don't know that Pete Seeger performed at Occupy Wall Street in Oct. 2011 or that he played We Shall Overcome? Maybe you should find out what you're talking about before you say something the next time.
OCCUPY TOGETHER!
