  • Just basic Shop Light from walmart with one GE bulb from there as well and second is blueish bulb from petco that I found on sale for a few bucks.

  • @bd1243 Do you save your water over night before you change? whats the PH, and temp?

    

  • @xaykham123 no straight from tap with Safe or whatever the powder one is called added directly to the tank. Temp i just adjust the tap so its about 82-83, tank is at 83. pH I don't check but it's around 7ish. as long as its always the same discus will be fine.

  • @bd1243 wait you change 120g out of 170g a week?

  • @DAgosto5 something like that, basically about 3-4" of water remains in both 55g sump and 120g tank after i drain it.
