I can't show you my food plate to demonstrate a portion since i fill my plate with more then a portion, but since I am practicing intutive eating I know when to stop. Just a few tips on the subject. Enjoy.

  • I watched a TV show about weightloss and they said otherwise. They said we are conditioned throughout life to eat what is put in front of us. eg. we eat more at a restaraunt because we are given more.

I find if I eat a 'normal' portion, and when I've finished I wait 15 minutes - then I am completely satisfied. I overeat otherwise, most likely because of the time it takes for the brain to register fullness, and then for me to feel full, which takes 15 minutes.

Whatever works for you though! x

  • yes before I would eat what ever was in front of me before I started listening to my body, so of course if your not doing that you will def. eat everything in front of you

  • Are there any books you would recommend on intuitive reading. I would be interested in reading more about this. Thanks so much!

  • I never read a book on it so I don't know any to recommend but I did record 2 videos on it, u can look for them in my videos and I would suspect any book would say the same thing.

  • Do you save whats left for another meal?

  • yes

  • good ! video ! ... ! ... !

  • Portion size is whatever amount of food you eat, serving size is different. For example, one estimates serving size when one says this piece of fish is the size of my checkbook and that equals one serving. If one eats two fish, that is two servings, yet still one portion. Sometimes portion and serving sizes match, sometimes they do not. I'm being picky about semantics, here, I totally understand what you are saying anyway and agree with this video.

  • Thank you. I must have missed those. Sorry about that I will check those out for sure. You are looking fabulous by the way! Great Job! You are such an inspiration!! :)
