Santana live album "Lotus" is always one of my favourite album. When my friend bought it from Japan for me back in 1975,it costed me a lot of money bacause it was in 3 LPs. But sadly, it wasn't one of Santana's top sales album, odd, isn't it?

Well, it did get to number 15 in Holland, and it sold well in a couple of other countries.

I was music director and then general manager of a radio station in 1974, and I don't even remember it being issued. Strange, since Columbia sent us free copies of every record they issued. Maybe they decided a triple LP (which hadn't been done since Woodstock and AllThingsMustPass, as far as I can recall) was more of a collector's item than material for broadcast. Not the fans' fault!
