I love that he was willing to do this, but, "I am talking," needs a good yelling behind it.
-
@straker2 Of course they wouldn't. Back in those days, Doctor Who was too busy with golden lines like "No, not the mind probe."
-
@scofisticated But how is this at all related to Doctor Who? None of the Doctors, not even the three New Who Doctors, espouse anything resembling the "beefcake" standard. All three of them are thin, with at least one of them pretty much in the "scrawny" category. I'm just...not sure what your concern is as far as Doctor Who goes, since it's obviously not in danger of becoming like other sci-fi shows in the way you're saying.

@dbvixxen @dbvixxen im sorry if i implyed that. but i myself never said that. if they would have a Diana Trent from WaitingForGod as a companion, i would watch every second.
i was trying to highlight the aspect of scifi that accentuates beefcakes which influences boys' self image. much the same as hot babes influences girls' selfimage. boys get it just as bad too, which leads to steroids, like it does w/ girls to anorexia. neither gender has it worse, and both need be addressed
-
@scofisticated Oh no, you just left that to the female companions. Heaven forbid the male characters look hot.

I love his accent !

It would honestly make my lie complete if in the 50th special they had old doctors, he was the first one i ever saw and he is my favorite, they probabaly wont but it would be really awesome

Seven's flaws were the fault of the studio. McCoy was amazing.
