Nice job mate, well done. Looks great on the bike :)

why u not apply CHROME paint?
-
Taping it up then using a wire brush in a drill just rips the tape up and clags the wire brush up..let alone spray the rest of the wheel in paint stripper..course wire wool does a better job..sorry but that's a sloppy way to do it

Nice video ! Thanks for sharing! Thumbs up!

Nice work! I also have a Fazer 600 and i think the stock wheels have really bad finish, but you just showed how to make them super nice.
Thanks for the inspiration!

ahhh thank god. I searched for over a year to buy a good one with no luck.
Keep it man, nice classic old school bike... and one of my dream bikes :)

@CH1CKENQUIFF Oh don't worry! I've kept absolutely everything of the original bike in my loft....fairings, wheels (The ones I've polished were bought separately) top yoke, bars, exhaust, seat unit and tank.....it's all there.
With my more upright position it wheelies in all sorts of gears it really shouldn't! It also had replacement titanium headers (Bought from the U.S.A.) and oval carbon Akropovic can when I bought it and they've stayed on.
I promise I'll look after it!

@SpaceraverDK - about 5 solid hours per wheel- take your time- the results are worth it!

hi i need a lil help i think i went to far on the wire brush part and i cant get all the scratches out what do i do?

@bermyguy77 - you need to use the cutting paste, its a paste that hardens & has abrassive qualities. If you choose not to use this, then use a lower grade wet & dry (200) & work down to a flat surface. Once this is achieved, then go back to the grade of Wet & Dry working upwards ie 200>400>600>800>1000, then onto the black cutting paste & continue on from there. Good luck & let us know how you get on, but all is not lost, certainly not coming from Bermuda...you lucky sod!
