Alli Stolper at Western Union

Alli Stolper talks about her IMC Summer Residency project working with the Web team of the Corporate Affairs department at Western Union. Alli did research and developed a plan for improving the company's intranet. She conducted a survey of all Western Union Web-enabled employees, analyzed both human resources data and Omniture SiteCatalyst Web analytics data, designed a usability test, conducted personal interviews and read industry publications. Alli proposed a strategy and tactics for developing content on the site, as well as a protocol to demonstrate the financial value of the intranet to senior management. Finally, she identified and began implementation of tactical improvements to the site using the company's Interwoven TeamSite content management system.
