it was the jacare's first loss at black belt
and the only time marcelo has beat him out of their encounter's
which is no shame considering marcelo is much lighter than jacare

@AceofDlamonds Definitely yes. in ANY grappling competition that is a significant amount of weight. ESPECIALLY at this elite level - where every little advantage you can get is SO important....12% more weight is a ridiculous advantage.

BJJ isn't all about control... you can control 9 minutes on top, but if you get swept, you lose 2-0
