Aviation Parkway - RCMP to Byward Market - Ottawa

After duct-taping a tripod mount for a camera to my motorcycle helmet, I decided to film a few areas of Ottawa. This is the first of two posted here. This ride is from the parking lot at the RCMP Musical Ride Barns to Clarence Street in the Byward Market. We pass the Prime Minister's residence at 24 Sussex Drive, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the National Art Gallery, and the Royal Mint.

Thanks - it was fun for a first run. Hope to do more and better with a more stable set-up. This was a tripod head duct-taped to my helmet. Gotta love duct-tape!

It would be great if you could do some more videos. In the video description you said "This is the first of two posted here." but I can't find the second video.

What is it called?

It's interesting to see what the roads are like in Ottawa. I plan to visit there hopefully next year from the UK.

I have to repost it - you know how sometimes Youtube takes forever to upload. It was corrupted. The leaves are just changing now and if I have a sunny day if will do some of the nicer areas of town. Ottawa is lovely. Where in the UK are you?

Ah that's annoying. I have never uploaded a video to youtube so I wouldn't know. I am going to learn how to soon though.

I live in a town called Tunbridge Wells in England which is about 40 mins from London and 40 mins from the sea. It's a nice town but starting to get overcrowded here now and house prices are very high.

The countryside is nice though, I will try and get some videos of it soon.

Do you have traffic problems in Ottawa or are your roads relatively quiet?
