It's kinda of sad when you think about how Black artist in the music biz back in the 50's and early 60's never mention the terrible conditions and Bigotry during these turbulent times, we were singing about love and good times a tribute to that false since of reality in order to sell records and they wonder why a large number of Black today are not conforming, rebelling big time I'm not surprised.......our people have been trick and confused for 400 years STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE

@rrrickster3137 And if you think i am wrong let me just ask you one thing there is a rap song by an African American artist who calls himself young jeezy that came out shortly after President Obama was elected that states "my president is black", if a European American had written a song when President Bush was in office called it my president is white would you think it is racist, i will say that i know it would have gotten pulverized by the media and been considered racist

@rrrickster3137 but i will say that slavery and discrimination is wrong regardless and what the government allowed and made happen to African Americans was completely wrong there was also a lot done to almost every other race than European Americans and even certain types of European Americans.

@rrrickster3137 i heard of slavery happening was when the Egyptians (black people) had Jewish (white) slaves that built the pyramids i am tired of feeling like i have to walk on eggshells or be apologetic for something i didn't do just because somebody from another race likes to make people from my race feel that way that is not justified that is double standard that is hypocrisy and racism and if i am European American and they are African American it does not make it any more

@rrrickster3137 the law is starting to lean towards doing this to European Americans and just because they're not African Americans doesn't make it right tot persecute them it is still racism just the same the crazy thing is Africans had slaves long before the slave trade started and they would sell their slaves to the white man and slavery has been going on since the beginning of time and the Africans are not anymore justified than Europeans for slavery the earliest account

@rrrickster3137 died fighting for African American freedom during the civil war it wasn't my generation that did it and it wasn't your generation it happened to and obviously it wasn't all European Americans that hated African Americans so every time someone hates an entire race they are wrong period no matter what because there is always good people in every race and what had happened to African Americans in the past is a tragedy and should never happen to anyone again but now

Not to mention the 400 year thing really doesn't make sense because this country has only been around for 236 years and slavery was abolished about 146 years ago maybe you're talking about the dutch who invented the slave trade it wasn't invented by America and America were the first ones to abolish it not to mention how many white people
