What type of trout is that at 50 seconds? Very nice size trout! Great work! What weight do you use and how many do you average per trip? Never fresh water fly but i love the salt and smashing massive flies in my back =)!

it is a pink salmon. they run in strong numbers. daily catches vary largely form a few to large quantities.

i love fishing in the u.p i have fished in the Chocolay river, ackerman lake, and in remote streams with my fly rod and never caught fish this nice like these ones. has any one here ever been to either the chocolay river (wild brookie paradise of the u.p) or the Au Sable river (#1 trout stream in the l.p)

yes-the chocolay is about 5 minutes from my house.. lots of good opportunies for the fly angler here in the u.p.! ausable river.. haaa! i'll take the u.p. any day over looking @ lots of other fisherman on the ausable!
