I remember Don K. Reed playing this once or twice on his "Doo Wop Shop" broadcasts on WCBS-FM, but it's been many moons since I've heard it. Thanks for posting this gem!

'the Love Notes' was obviously a common name for a group. I remember a group with that name on Aladdin label
in the mid 50's singing UNITED. Is my memory correct?
