We stayed at the cliff-side resort, El Conquistador, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and spent several days exploring two of Puerto Rico's many islands, Isla Palomino and Isleta (perhaps Cayo) Palominito.

The Palominos are about 650 yards apart. We snorkeled/swam to Palominito and back two days in a row.

A lush coral reef surrounds the area. The most exciting thing we saw was a stingray, but my camera didn't catch it!

  • Not at all. You two look very happy to be in my country and you are welcome any time.

  • @KleePietro THANKS! Actually I just returned from Puerto Rico on 1/9/12. Navidad was amazing! This time we went to Isla Caja de Muerto and Culebrita. I hope to make videos of those soon. Saludos!

  • Excellent video. Have shown it to friends in the USA to atract them to PR.

  • @KleePietro THANKS!!! Hopefully all the speedo shots didn't scare them away!! hehehe.....! :)

  • Where was the place with the chairs on the beach? About how long did it take aprox. to get to palominito from palominos if you could guess(in minutes). that would be greatly appreciated!

  • @aquariumguy101 The chairs are from the beach at Palomino. It's the area that the El Conquistador Resort guests have access to.

I think it took about 1/2 hour to snorkle over to Palominito. This was one of my favorite adventures in my 7 visits to Puerto Rico. Imagine it depends of sea conditions and if you stop to admire anything on the way over.. It's about 650 yards away.

    :)
