Recorded 1/19/63, all three girls were from Queens. Herb Rooney was the male singer. Little know fact the Exciters were the first to record Do-Wah-Diddy, later recorded by Manfred Mann

The Exciters with TELL HIM what a song what a hit for all ETERNITY. this doo wop rocknroll historian lived thru those years. i love this song as does my generation. Thanks Exciters you made us all EXCITED with this song and others. TOMK

The best part is the utter RANDOMNESS of their choosing to film at the zoo! That early scene when they're singing as if directly to the bear is delightful. :)
