OK, Linda, I am getting one!

@memphisgrl18 You guys are putting a lot of faith in something that you assume is accurate when we can be just as accurate. This is just a fact, hate to burst you bubble ladies. I know many people that have purchased the Bodybugg, men and women, so go ahead but there is nothing that this thing actually DOES for you that you can't figure out for yourself. Don't confuse the Bodybugg for accuracy. Good luck.

@FitandEnergizedJenn Why would you assume the budybugg would know you're exact body composition better then you would? If you don't understand what you're eating (caloric intake), your own exercise routine and level of intensity which would include heart rate, plus an understanding of how calories actually function,,, it's pretty easy. If you need to spend $200 on this go ahead. You're giving this watch way too much power.

@theroncon hey there,. How can I know how man calories I am burning? you said I could do it with pen and paper, I seriously want to know. i am getting a body bugg for christmas and would like to compare. would I have to know my exact body composition? I know its different depending on how much muscle I have, since muscle takes more to calories to function. Also, How would I keep track of how intense I am working? by heart rate?
Thanks

Where can we get the Body Bug? Where is the link?

you can tell how much your body is burning all the time, during all activities theroncon? thats pretty cool of you! to be able to do that with a pen and paper! the point is, with basic knowledge of your BMI and the calories you are consuming you still UNDERestimate what you eat and OVER estimate what you do physically. so even if you KNOW that your burn 1460 cals a day based off your BMR, you can still be not eating enough or too much which causes weight plateaus.
-
@FitandEnergizedJenn Actually it's pretty simple, given the fact that all you need is an education and knowledge on how the human body works.
-
@theroncon thats interesting, do you have a formula? how do you know how many calories you are burning during your workout? also, I have learned that finding your bmi and all that info is a estimation. I would love to know how you believe pen and paper can do the same thing?
Ummm......you two different earings on LOL ........that must be the latest style!

Bottom line a body bugg, other calorie counters are a much more faster practical way of doing it.
I'm a Fitness Instructor & have had many peeps come take my class & they are working their booty's off 5 days a week & they can't understand why those last 10 lbs are not coming off....the first thing I ask is are you keeping track of calories...a lot of estimate wrong!
