LOL... you are correct! I had forgotten that. I am wondering where that precious necklace ended up.... I hope the studio didn't trash it when the show went down! I like to think either GA or BC kept it...

Not a blopper. This necklace was a COPY. It was part of the plan to have Phillip believe Beth was dead. All thanks to Alan and his henchmen.

OMGoodness I see a blooper here..... Phillip, when he finally discovers Beth in the asylum ( my favorite scene) touches this necklace on her neck and asks her if she likes it, and if she remembers that he gave it to her! She is wearing that very necklace when he finds her LOL!
I HATED seeing someone play Phillip as a recast. I was bitter about it. I missed GA so bad it hurt! And I resented the scene where little Lizzie gives Phillip the necklace after the divorce during the bad writing period!

I am looking for the scenes where Beth was dying and she was told that Lu-Jack was dead. I stayed home sick from school that day to watch it, but it was so long ago.

I agree that this recast of Phillip is very sexy but the problem is that he's NOT Phillip Spaulding.
Grant Alexander owned this role and no one can fill his shoes.
