I love how this clip was taken entirely out of context. Why doesn't it include anything that he said around it? Most likely because he clarified what he meant, which I take to be the following: He must connect the two entities for those who feel that they are not linked. For the most part, people of this type are very stubborn, and thus, it is a hard thing to do.

1)No, Michael Moore didn't put this clip out.
2) Shortly after I posted this clip wished I had include more of the segment. However I personally do not belie this clip to be misleading.
