  • At the same speed... Yes.

  • I try this method but I cant get that snaping sound when I release. If I cant get that snap "click" sound when I release then I'm doing something wrong right?

  • @Intepacazule - no not necessarily. The grip must bear down at the instant the disc tries to leave the hand. So the fingers can slap together.

  • Thanks. This method works. Try it.

  • so does a heavier disc fly further than a light disc then?

  • Great work! These videos really make sense of "The Snap"!

  • I dont use the Power Grip I just use the regular grip where the Index finger is on the Front of the Disc and I still get a lot of snap cause I dont have body speed and I dont put a lot of shoulder speed. I just point my shoulder and keep my arm straight out in front of me and pull it back when I do the Xstep it works out. A pro guy said if I use the Power Grip well I can easily improve my distance greatly. I just end up turning it over or let go late!

  • Some have said, "Thanks for putting this together" but I say thanks for "Throwing" this together.

  • awesome

  • Nice video! I keep my disc locked between my index and the base of my thumb, though. My hand looks like I'm giving a thumbs up. I can't keep my thumb pad and index locked and get a good grip on the disk. Maybe it has something to do with the proportion of my hand?

  • these videos have been so helpful in adding disctance and speed to my throws. I was just wondering, how loud should a snap be when you throw? When I throw, I hear a snap similar to what would be a normal snap of the fingers. Thanks!
