We were an 11-2 or at least an 8-4 quality team, and we looked like a 3-9 team. I called dickrod out on it, and sure enough, we finished 3-9. Shit, I got blasted for saying we'd go 6-6 in 2009 when everyone predicted 8-4. We went 5-7. Yes, I had high expectations for dickrod, and when U-M failed spectacularly,I correctly pointed the gun at him and said "HE DID IT!"

No, its just that I saw dickrod for the failure that he was three games into his career, long before anyone else did. There's an mgoblog thread on me from October 2008 fergodsakes! I wasn't being a shitty fan. I was simply ahead of the curve. I also said in more than one place that hiring Hoke would be a good idea. So far, so good.

Almost every dickrod recruit who has done well at Michigan did it under Hoke, not dickrod. Hoke and his staff are better at developing players than dickrod could ever dream of being. Period. End of story. Look at how spectacularly his assistants failed at Pittsburgh under Todd Graham. Look at GERG
