"Twin House" was one of my first albums, I could afford as a teen in 1977. I can remember that day, because it was the day after Elvis Presley´s death and a news reporter (at the record store) tried to persuade me to buy an Elvis album instead (and make a picture then for the newspaper).

I refused and he was pissed off with me (ha,ha,ha) I am proud having bought Twin House, the corner stone of my HUGE Jazz record collection now. I also find, Philip is a nice guy, too underrated by Jazz critics !

@Tarabos1 Thank you for sharing your story about this album and Philip...you are so right - he is far too underrated by the critics and deserves an ever more appreciative audience...he has always been so generous and kind to me as a younger musician and this I never forget...

Wow. Thank you SO much for uploading this. This is a wonderful tune, one of my favorites. My absolute favorite version of it is in the album Philip did with Larry Coryell. Amazing piece. Haunting melody.

@LickNRiff It is for people like you that I asked Philip to make this short film of Homecomings...I knew that there must be many others ( like myself ) who love this tune and his playing on it...glad you found it ! Thanks for posting. I have loved this guy for over thirty years. Got to see him live with Coryell many times years ago. I wish those guys would get together and show all the young guys how a great duo should sound.

@LONGWINDING ..one day, like 30 years ago (!?) I was playing this on a guitar I was trying out in a guitarshop in brussels, suddenly I hear somebdoy jamming on in..I turned my head and ...it was Philippe Catherine himself!!!!! ;-Dgreat moment in my life ;-DD

@hazimyilmaz You are ABSOLUTELY right. I have that Erkan Ogur album Bir Omurluk Misafir: it is one of my all time favorite albums. That version is unbelievably rich in mood and atmosphere.
