  • Thank's! Keep it light and it will fly well too! The SE5 probably has a slightly smaller wing area compared to the Scout. You may want to sand down the wing ribs slightly. A thinner wing works better in small scales. Check out the blog with pictures linked to below.

  • Hi!

Yes, I buiilt tyhe same planbe when I was around 13.. 28 years ago! With the supplied rubber motor there where no way it would fly!

The new verion of these kits is very nice with good quality wood and laser cut parts.

The wheels are from DARE Hobby.

If you follow the link (url) on the video you can find out more about the build. Not sure I can create a link in this reply. /JOHAN

  • This is the finest Guillow conversion I have seen. I have the SE5A kit and hope to have similar success.

  • that's beautiful in fight. i have this kit. i haven't built one in 40 years the laser cut parts jut fall out. the old die cut parts broke and needed glue befor you started to build.

  • Bravo ? c'est super de voir ce petit modèle de base pour voler avec un moteur caoutchouc et de l'avoir radiocommandé et de le faire voler en électrique...bons vols...

  • Fantastic job!!

  • Wonderful to see an R/C conversion in flight. I bulit this about 35 years ago as a rubber power free flight (never got off the ground). Did you use the supplied plastic wheels?
