last time I remembered..The elbows had to be pointing at an angle above the back to be a BB bent over row... if not is was not being performed right.

@Ashneelp Each bell is 25Kg and the bar is 20Kg. You clearly frequent the gym regularly.
On another note. I prefer to do this exercise with a little bend in the knees as after deadlifts the strain is too much for me.

nice warm up weight

@ruskiniedzwiedz you're the dumbass if you think pendlay invented this style of rowing
-
@kombatcookie Pulling to waist is pretty much the ideal way to do it, exercising the whole back not just traps + rear deltoid. check for different ways to do it exrx.net/WeightExercises/BackG

I have been wanting to do this exercise for some time but when i try it it often feels like my lower back is getting sore in a bad way. any hints to do it better. Could it be too much weight maybe ?

@rodlaz1984 The form isnt perfect yea, knees should be bent also along some other little tthings but the back poisition n so forth are correct, u see pro bb-rs doing this like with very shitty form back should b eclose to parallel with the ground, that's how powerlifter who has competed in my gym taught me...
-
@rodlaz1984 Glenn PEndlay who invented these rows, advised pulling it to your lower chest.
dumbasses.

@marquiseacorbett yeah, tension in your back... ... goosh you forgot to read that rowing engages erector spinae muscles.
