Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - "2nd Hero"

Please note that this involves pulling out the left side of the cartridge (A.K.A. the crooked cartridge), so use at your own risk.

What you will need to do is make sure you have an empty file to do this on. First, select your name, but do not select "End" quite yet. Get ready to perform the CC trick. As soon as you press "End", quickly pull the left side of the cartridge out (but just far enough so the sound become distorted). Once it is done saving, push the left side of the cartridge back in and start the game.

There are two things that will indicate that you have done it right: 1) After the blurb at the beginning that talks about Link's history in Hyrule, a white screen appears. If you can see a blank "B" icon and an "A" icon that says "Next", you have done a crooked cartridge trick. Not necessarily the one we're looking for, but you've done one of them. And 2) If, when you see Link, he has a shield but no sword.

If both of the above are true then you have done the trick correctly.

Here are a list of things that will be different from normal gameplay while this is in effect:

- You can see all of the map on the Start Menu as soon as you start the game
- The hearts, magic meter, C-buttons, etc. will be gone most of the time during normal gameplay
- C-buttons will be disabled while this trick is effect
- At the part where Tatl says she wants to join you, there is a chance that she won't (Unfortunately, in my video, she did join me -_-)
- While flying as a Deku Scrub, there will be a glitched symbol on "B" instead of Deku Nuts.
- All chests will already be open. If you got Tatl, they have a bigger chance of being open than if you didn't get her
- All of the Clock Town guards will be gone. Again, this has a higher chance of happening if you didn't get Tatl.
- All of the games will kick you out (excluding Honey and Darling) if you don't have enough money to play OR if it's the Shooting Gallery.
- All of the Deku Scrubs from the trading sequence are switched around. Since there is a Deku Scrub in the Deku flower in Clock Town, you can not reach the clock tower at midnight, meaning the moon WILL crash into Termina.
- You will not find the stray fairy around Clock Town. However, when you go to the fairy's fountain, you will find that it is already with you. When you get magic power it will be flashing blue and you will have infinite magic
- The code for the Bombers' Hideout is "/////". However, when you go to the hideout, it will probably already be open. When you get to the telescope guy, he will not let you look through the telescope
- When you go to the bank, you will have ///// rupees. Trying to deposit rupees will make him tell you that the bank is full. Withdrawing rupees will get you stuck on a screen that lets you change letters around but, unfortunately you have to reset
- When the Goron goes up to Anju to get his key to his room, he will disappear because Anju is in her room hugging her invisible boyfriend
- If Tatl didn't join you, the rock blocking Romani Ranch will be gone no matter what day. If Tatl did join you, it will prbably be there
- The bomb shop will carry the big bomb bag regardless of what day it is. Because of this, Sakon will not be waiting to beat up the old lady in North Clock Town
- When "they" appear at the ranch, they will be immobile and the sun will kill them. If you wait 'till night of the 2nd day, the game will freeze showing a shot of you on Cremia's milk cart. If you walk in Romani Ranch on night of the 2nd day, the cinema will start immediately. When you have to keep the milk bottles from being broken, you can shoot arrows out of Deku Link's mouth. At the end of the track, you will fall through the ground in a never-ending cinema
- If you wait for the moon to crash, you will reappear in front of the Happy Mask Salesman as normal Link without the Deku Mask
- On any night, the postman will be waiting by the East Clock Town gate. If you talk to him, he will give you the Postman's Hat
- The big guy in the Mountain Smithy will be banging on the Razor Sword (but, for some reason, he wasn't in my video). Come back the next day and he will give you the Gilded sword. Sometimes it will appear on the "B" button, but other times it will not. If it does, you can activate owl statues and save at them. However, saving at them will result in deletion of the file
- When you go up to the clock tower, the four giants will already be there. The moon will still crash into the earth, though
- All 4 of the cursed areas will be uncursed like you had already beaten them

There are probably more differences, but I didn't explore enough.

Please note that I did not discover this glitch.

I used to believe that people try to AVOID glitches when they play games,and when they find some,they need a patch. First time I see people discovering tricks to glitch games on purpose.. :|

I have a N64 with the Zelda games, but my controllers are pretty broken. I bought them again for Virtual Console, works much better for me.
