  • ICAO is KGCN. Landed there 1st June 2010 in a 172R from North Las Vegas.

  • what was the ICAO

  • Ive landed there a couple of times. Once from the north and then again from the south. The north approach is cool because you have to drop from 14,000 after you leave the VFR lane over the canyon. Great place!!

  • Any landing is a good landing if you get on the ground safely.

  • There's almost definately a crosswind. It looks like he was slipping all the way to the runway.

  • Hey Nice Landing Dude

  • Cool video, a bit of a crosswind I assume? I know how that is. Here in the bay area you've either got a 10kt+ crosswind or the airports socked it.

  • really looks like he did. Appeared to be fighting that on the approach through right before touchdown

  • I am a new pilot and almost always seem to land on the left side of the centerline too. Nice job bro.

  • nice! I love that airport...
