I have the TZ5 which is the same in almost all respects. It can be a bit focus happy when zooming but you can turn the auto-focus off... unfortunately doing so introduces some other kind of weird focus issues. I've ended up just leaving the autofocus on and know there will be some blurry spots when zooming in/out.
Once you're zoomed in or out it does a fantastic job

hi, i am thinking of getting a long zoom cam. how is the focus when zoom on this camera? and seems it picks up the zooming sound when recording?
