Das StG44 wurde 1943 als "MP43" entwickelt, erprobt und erstmalig im Sommer '43 zu Testzwecken in geringer Stückzahl an der Ostfront eingesetzt. Erst als Hitler davon überzeugt werden konnte, dass die "MP43" dem Standardkarabiner Kar98k und dem G43/K43 als Standardinfanteriewaffe überlegen war, wurde es in Serie produziert und die "MP43" - eigentlich war es nie eine MP - erhielt aus Propagandagründen Anfang '44 ihren Namen Sturmgewehr 44 von Hitler persönlich.

There was never a "MP44"! I think you mean the StG44 (Sturmgewehr 44) from 1944. This wasn't a MP, it was the first assault rifle in the world.

Also a mistake: Gobler addresses Dietrich as "Herr Major." Dietrich is a colonel; Gobler is the major. :)

have you noticed some of the songs look like the songs in star wars.... (obviusly because geroge was the producer)
