Archbishop Thomas Collins - Witness

In his post-synodal apostolic exhortation Verbum Domini, Pope Benedict encouraged the faithful to practice "Lectio Divina" — the prayerful reading of Scripture. While this ancient practice is something new for many people, it is certainly familiar to Catholics in Edmonton and Toronto, where Archbishop Thomas Collins has led a popular series of lectio divina meditations. Following a Verbum Domini conference at Regis College, the Archbishop of Toronto sits down with Fr. Thomas Rosica to discuss the church's renewed emphasis on Scripture.
