Disinformation in Sydenham Hill Woods

Brief documtentaton of untitled sound works by the sound art project Disinformation, exhibited in London's most beautiful art space - Sydenham Hill Woods, 25-27 August 2007. Poor quality audio - headphones highly recommended. The "Upstaging Nature" event was curated and organised by John Deller and Helen Morse-Palmer for Lookout Post, in association with the London Wildlife Trust. Special thanks to Poulomi Desai. "Upstaging Nature" featured artists Ami Clarke, Andrew Dodds, Anne Gutt, Antonio Gianasi, Bern Roche Farrelly, Bram Arnold, Caroline Kraabel, Chris Baxter, Christina Guerrero Harmon, Daniel Winder, Etta Ermini, Harald Smykla, Jack Brown, Jena McCarthy and Thomas Barry, Jessica Lloyd Jones, Jo Lathwood, John Deller, Disinformation, Julius Murinde, Laura Travail, Laura Holden, Madarms, Maria Laet, Megan Broadmeadow, Nick Furgusson, Phillip Kennedy, Rosemary McGoldrick, Sally Barker, Stuart Silver, The Other Way Works, Tree Caruana and Kim Charnock, Verity Gwinnett and Weyiee Cheung.

In the previous "Art of Permanence and Change" event in Sydenham Hills Woods, 14 - 22 May 2005, Disinformation exhibited "The Origin of Painting" sound and light installation in the abadoned railway tunnel under Sydenham Hill. Disinformation's "Theophany" electromagnetic noise / sound installation was exhibited outdoors in the "Time" exhibition, curated by Nick Horrigan, at Burghley House Sculpture Garden, April to October 2007.
