Black and white will always be king. Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, II. Allegretto always makes things that much cooler.
This is what happens when you get David Fincher, Spike Jonze, and Tarsem Singh on one film. Are the credits a shout out to Fincher's previous flick, "Panic Room" (and of course by extension, Hitcock + Saul Bass)?

I couldn't agree more. I cannot imagine how can one see it and describe it as shallow. When I saw it I had to see it a few more times. An absolute masterpiece.

It shocks me how many people dislike this film. The first time I saw it was a late Monday night & I fell madly, deeply in love. I judy stared at the screen, utterly memorized. Such a gorgeous film... Not only the cinematography, but even the story itself. Others say it's shallow, it's cliched, but I cannot disagree any more. The archetype characters and story-line in the film existed because it was based on an epic literary story, a world of both satire and homage.

I love this movie so much. The composition of pictures and sound.....being the secret star of this movie. It's like pure surreal imagination, a dream bannend on film.

I wish the entire movie was like this... Without all that stupid and pointless dialogue full of clichés.
Just a silent movie with these visuals and music.
