I've been watching a bunch of episodes of this show just now, and I like it a lot. But there's something amusing I've noticed. In their UK-based episodes, they're all like, "All you need to clean this is a slice of lemon and some vinegar!", whereas in the US episodes, they're all like, "All you need to clean this is the Mister Clean(tm) Power Scrub(tm) Ultra-Blast 9000(tm), which you can find at any Wal-Mart(tm)!"

We Americans apparently simply can't do TV at all without sponsorship. :)

It amazes me how folks who live in filth so often claim that they are afraid of cleaning 'chemicals'. In fact they bring in so many chemicals, molds, dust, dirt, etc from outside and breath them in everyday it's just horribe for their health. Irony!

The toilet cleaning was just over the top. What I do like about the show is that they get the filthy owners to clean and scrub their crap.

How come everybody in these episodes are afraid about how chemical cleaners would worsen their asthma and aren't afraid of living in a shit hole full of bacteria, insects and fungi.
