I worked in a music store for years back in the 90's, and though I've listened to thousands of bands, none sounded more beautiful and breathtaking (in my opinion) as the Cocteau Twins. They will forever be my favorites.

gosh i really love Cocteau Twins. They are so ahead of their time. They sound so haunting and outworldly.

I love this song so much. I read somewhere that she is singing about someone she used to love that was lost in a rogue twister that unexpectedly set down in a remote part of Bulgaria. This song is one of my favorties.

How can anyone know what's she's singing
about?

She is purposefully singing gibberish.

Honestly - research it.

It's weird because people who write songs such as myself, often don't listen to lyrics until years later. So music like this is perfect for me. I've never given a fuck about lyrics..but I love catcy pop songs. I guess I've got it all wrong. I relate to the MUSIC, not the lyrics.

How do you know this? Have you talked to her? I know she spent a few years of her youth with some nomadic cave dwelling gypsies outside of Romania maybe she picked up this unusual language there. Anyway lets not argue because I love this song and you are bringing me down with all this talk about "research" Just enjoy it for what it is.
