"Fireflies" by Owl City is one of my favorite songs ever. Seriously, it's like, the key to my happiness. I can be pissed one second, and listen to this song the next, and instantly feel whimsical and exuberant. In fact, the portions of this video with me in it were filmed on an evening while the rest of my family was having a snit in the house; this was my temporary escape from the chaos into "Fireflies"s world of whimsy.
Most of my friends find the song has a similar affect on them, and so October and another chick (who has since exiled herself from our circle of friends) volunteered to help me film portions of this video, aiding me through their dancing and lip syncing.
All of the images of nature were taken by me personally within the vast forest that is my backyard.
