Director Wim Wenders, whose films include Paris, Texas and The Million Dollar Hotel, talks about the conflict between fiction and reality in Los Angeles that has defined his work--and that eventually forced him to leave L.A. He was participating in a Zócalo/Getty panel at the Getty Museum as part of the Pacific Standard Time initiative along with director John Singleton, essayist Richard Rodriguez, architect Eric Owen Moss, and radio personality Warren Olney.
