People get over it. This the oldest method of teaching how to swim. I have seen babies thrown into rivers and they came out swimming. Its called knowing how to swim or sink. Great lesson to learn early on in life. No wonder kids are lazy and entitled these days because all many parents do is coddle them

I think it is a good thing that they teach babies to float. look what happens when a small child falls into a pool and theres no adults around.
