here is where i am at on my tbolt 1000DC brushes, collector rings added, lazy susan turntable bearing, i wasn't sure if i told you bout it in the last update. the chopper housing is made from a snack box rolled up, gonna seal that with hot glue, showing when its running its literally a big fan, throwing air all over the place.

whats left i need to build:
finish sanding the collector rings for good connection 360degrees, seal the stator, add a top and bottom cap for the chopper housing, build the horn from scratch, that may take the longest then attach everything together then its complete

up to you guys, do you like a tbolt to be taller or shorter?
if no answers it will be shorter

Thanks for watching :)

  • I have a transformer with a switch that lets you change the voltage. Since this thing uses a universal DC motor, you can use something like that for a pitch change. Just make sure that if you are using a blower that it's not too much resistance for the motor to handle.

  • how did you make the chopper/stator assembly? did you buy it or make it?

  • shorter...if its too tall it would fall over

  • taller
