This is a quick video on a super simple breakfast idea that we as adults have forgotten about. You need an apple, any nut butter of your choice and honey or Agave. If you use honey then it is not considered vegan. I used the tahini for extra calories. You can just use a nut butter and apple if you prefer. You stay full from the fiber of the apple, the juice from the apple and the heaviness of the nut butter.

This can turn into a dessert by spreading the nutbutter mix on the apple or a banana cut long ways and sprinkle hazel nuts, macadamia nuts or unsweetened coconut on top. You could also dust the top with cacao powder or cacao nubs. You can make a simple cacao syrup by warming some coconut oil and adding the cacao podwer and mixing. Then drizzle. Eat up! I do not worry about calorie content since my body is getting healthy foods and not junk.

  • I love that the little hands popped into the screen! SO cute!

  • @lbates305 Yea, those little fat fingers are always trying to eat all my goods!

  • I "happened" upon your channel via Evelyn Prather's channel. Between the two of you, I feel much less like I'm stumbling around in the dark with my transition. Thank you!!

  • @Qyuti3 Glad we can help!

  • please keep the raw food videos coming. I am vegetarian (I totally understand what you are talking about about eating different than your upbringing...my family is from the south and they can't believe I don't eat fried chicken anymore). I love the ideas that you share.

  • @mrssheshe69 I have some more to upload soon!

  • Very informative. Didn't know about the numbers.

  • I just had that for a midnight snack tonite: granny smith apple and crunchy peanut butter. Yum! I didn't get too full tho cuz I shared with my dog.

I've been experimenting with raw food and vegetarian diets. If all else fails I def have a green Smoothie everyday. I like ur channel.

  • @Keekbeak It takes a while to be totally raw or 90% raw. After all, it is hard breaking a habit that we have had for like......20,30,40 or even 50 years! Do the best you can. I hope to do more videos about food but I do not do many recipes any more. Just plain fruits and veggies! Whenever I get a hankering for something, I will try to do a video. I have been craving lemon tarts but I have been to lazy to make them!

  • You're inspiring me so very much, Ms. Lady! And btw, what a blessing to have neighbors with bee hives and apple trees..!!! I learned about the raw diet, and have been going back and forth for the last TWO YEARS. I detest my inconsistency. Anyway, I'm going to ride the momentum of your motivating videos. So glad I found them.
