Has Bill O'Reilly's demagoguery reached the fevered pitch of the infamous Senator McCarthy? Judging by his frequent habit of outing liberals as "un-American" and "America haters" it would seem so. The irony is Bill's oblivious of his own hate.

During the McCarthy era and the Eisenhower Presidency, the top tax rate was 91-92%. When the Bush tax cuts expire, the rate will return to 39.6%. Even with the rate at 92%, McCarthy died a drunken disgrace for crying "COMMUNISM!" Imagine if he had a propaganda network like Fox on his side!
