http://www.euronews.net/ There has been violence in Senegal after the country's top legal body gave the go-ahead for veteran President Abdoulaye Wade to stand for a third term - and rejected the candidacy of singer Youssou N'Dour.

Trouble broke out in several cities including the capital Dakar, where a policeman was reported to have been killed.

Now opposition parties and other groups are calling on people to march on the presidential palace today.
