The teaser trailer to the short Japanese-language film "Mujo No Kaze" (The Wind of Impermanence).
After a Japanese exchange student is murdered while studying in the US, his best friend in Tokyo is thrown into a world of depression in which a series of hallucinations lead him to a divine encounter in the countryside. Mujo No Kaze is a short film about finding hope in the midst of depression, suicide, and the futility of life.
It was shot on location in Tokyo with Japanese actors and actresses by a crew of ten Biola University students and their professor during the early part of January 2007.
The premiere of "Mujo No Kaze" is set for December 6th at the AFI Mark Goodson Theater in Los Angeles and will run from 9-11pm. Admission is free.
"Mujo No Kaze" is currently being submitted to multiple film festivals, including Sundance and Slamdance.
