Why is everybody saying poor Luke? Yes the face he makes is heartbreaking, as the entire situation is, but you guys have to remember that if Luke hadn't pushed her away in the first place none of this would have happened. What, now because Luke is the one who is ready to jump so suddenly and Lorelai says no that makes her the bad person? And yet when Luke turned her down in the street everbody was still on about how Lorelai shouldn't had sprung everything on him at once. He turned her down first

It wasn't her turning him down that makes her the bad person or that made the majority of the fanbase mad, it was the fact that she jumped right into bed with Christopher...it was just terrible. The whole Christopher/Lorelai storyline was completely unnecessary, as was breaking up Luke and Lorelai. Season 7 was just a mess.

i think instead of them writing in that luke had a daughter and her sleeping with chris that they should've had her be pregnant, with twins, a boy and a girl- just like her dream. it would've made it so much more romantic and i think all the viewers would've liked it better

i agree i mean it wouldnt have happened if he moved faster. But luke isnt fast it took yearsfor him to even realize he loved her&then to act upon it.He didnt ask her to marry her it was her. So she should have realized that he isnt the one to do things. It took hours for her to sleep with Chris after he said he couldnt jump into it & well that was the worse part. He felt like an idiot, he for the first time said fine lets do it. Then she breaks his heart,so poor luke he would have never donethat

yes it absolutely makes her the bad person im sorry i dont think anyone realizes that Luke is the type of guy who likes dealing with shit on his own so when he found out he had a daughter he couldnt help but try to do it on his own. Its the type of person he is, now lets get to lorelai's character issues, gee you sleep with someone just because you feel like your fiance has been pushing you away for months? seriously?
