Marina Abramović (Belgrado, Yugoslavia; 30 de noviembre de 1946), artista serbia de performance que empezó su carrera a comienzos de los años 70. Activa por más de tres decádas, recientemente ha sido descrita por sí misma como la "Abuela del arte de la performance".
El trabajo de Abramović explora la relación entre el artista y la audiencia, los límites del cuerpo, y las posibilidades de la mente.

I noticed a pattern... when people were passing through facing the female (which most did), others would follow. When someone turned and faced the male instead, several did after. It wasn't necessarily random choice. People were simply following the crowd. I think this explains a lot.

@jojopooo Your close mindedness and ignorance towards this performance art (creating a relationship with the audience) is shocking. Without the constraints of clothing the human form is at its most natural, something that should be regarded as beautiful. It disgusts you? Does your own body disgust you? Will you clothes by 'infected' if they touch a breast?

I personally think that the majority faced Marina based on her height. To be honest, if I were there I'd face Marina. I usually always face the smaller person when cutting through, even unintentionally. I think i do this because i myself, am small. :P Just an opinion to add
