Yes I agree with you that there are fanatics who think in the way you mention, but which book prescribes stoning? It is the Bible where we find stoning as punishment as rabbinic law based on the Torah. In Islam there is no mention of stoning in the Quran, only in some hadith (saying) which took over some practices of Judaism. Nowadays there are really few cases of stoning, while torture is much more widespread, this because many governments and armies allow it..

I do not pretend it, I assume it. I am not caught in any view, I just don't like people saying: I may kill persons with stones, just because my religion tells me!

Again, I assume that this will be more and more called "stupidness", because that is what it is. There are death bringing actions done by people, just because a book allows them to do so.

This is simply the worst I can imagine.

Those people are the ones which can be called having a tunnel view, don't you agree?

If you like to call "throwing stones on humans until they are dead" is worth the word tradition, well, ok, then we have two different opinions here. Stay on your side, and try to blame Ole Nydahl for not being satisfied by worthless actions and harmful ideas, which never crossed the thinking brain.

But don't be disappointed, when the vast majority of all thinking humans, some day will call you a dreaming idiot, as I would like to do right now.

using some Buddhist teaching to show off his own person and propagate his own agenda, deeply connected to the Danish far right ultranationalist political movement.

@bingoling Dalai Lama is nowadays more a political figure, than a spiritual authority. He pacts with chineese, and sacrificed the head of the Kagyu school to be able to talk to them. Also stating that islam is a religion of peace is not smart, for the sole reason it isn't. You may read the Huntington's study about the civlizations. Islam is supressing freedom, just read the newspaper, and open your eyes. Also Ole Nydahl is a lama, being given the title by the 16th. Karmapa. Not fake at all.

His racistic statements and lack of respect for people who has another religion (Islam) has nothing to do with Buddhism, they are the opposite of what the Dalai Lama says. This man is a big FAKE and has his own agenda....
