Zurg might not be the most successful villain but his writing skills are top notch.

Yeah and if you watch the end credits for toy story 2 with the bloopers and what not, Stinkie Pete is in his box talking to Barbies about getting them a part in toy story 3! But too bad for Stinkie Pete and those Barbies because they didn't get a part :I But still I found that strange.

Holy crap, what an errie foreshadowing... Did they really know that was coming?
When you think about the fact that it was Disney that made this series this is sort of amusing, because they were the ones who wanted to make Toy Story 3 themselves with the "Buzz malfunctioning and being sent to Taiwan" plotline, yet they unknowingly predict Pixar's amazing storytelling in one of their cheap TV spin-offs of Toy Story (no offense to any BLoSC fans).

@A113Pixar I do take offense to calling it cheap. I really, really REAALLY wanted to see Buzz's crew in Toy Story 3.

@FigmentJedi Well I liked the show too so I don't mean that in a harsh way, but you have to honestly admit that putting it side-by-side with Pixar's films shows a difference in quality. It's like comparing Disney's Aladdin with their direct-to-video sequel "The Return of Jafar" or their TV series for it. They were always of lesser quality than the original animated features.

@A113Pixar It was still pretty smartly written (which seeing as it was produced by the guy behind Darkwing Duck and some of the other old Disney Afternoon shows, probably helped) and had a nice voice-cast.
Though probably the last good "movie spinoff" show Disney did in those days. The hell were they thinking with Emperor's New School?
