Just bought this today. 16th of first 20 ever in the us that were sold. Love it. Beautiful sound. Beautiful guitar. Recommend it strongly already.

I've got three or so 'proper' US PRS McCarty guitars. I also have an SE single cut and I LOVE it. It's lighter than my US guitars, it sounds great and the neck feel and build quality are every bit as good as my expensive guitars... I'm tempted by one of these. And a Santana SE too... You won't be disappointed...

What a beauty.... how much does it weigh? I can handle up to 4 Kilos, not more.... And by the way: What a great player!!!

@togbetsoup I didnt say that custom shop guitars are not worth the money. They are beautiful pieces of handicraft and they sound equisite, no doubt about that. Its nice knowing they are one of a kind. But sound-wise the difference is not that big. A/B blind comparison is a powerful tool when it comes to chosing an instrument while maintaining impartiality. I sell guitars and my eperience is that musicians will be happier with the choice of their heart and feel, not their brand-awareness.

@Account3of7 I have a PRS Private Stock DGT amongst many other guitars, PRS and other premium brands, and believe me the PRS private stock is worth very penny I paid for it

i keep watching this video everyday....how bad i want this guitar...

@Account3of7 I played an Epiphone for 5 years, it sucked. However this guitar is the coolest looking SE PRS has come out with yet, and it sounds incredible.

@Dogslow ur right, the price is nothing like a lp std

Not very familiar with Bernie's playing or his career but I like what he plays here.
PRS, Epiphone, Squier etc do a great job offerig really good instruments for a reasonable price.
Compared to a PRS Private Stock its ten times cheaper, but does the Private Stock sound ten times better? I doubt it. I even doubt you could tell much of a difference between a good midrange guitar and a fancy botique style one in blind A/B comparison.
But as long as there are brand snobs, there are redicolously expensive products.
Titanium tremolo blocks, all Koa guitars, handwired pickups...lmao!
