Saw this same line-up in Milwaukee. My highschool friend's brother was friends with Jerry and his brother back in the 70's. What an incredible violinist - so relaxed with that fiddle - like an extension of his soul! Well, and not to discount my favorite guitarist...Mr. Morse. Wow, what great musician's - so tight!

@drumwraith A weak player?!? What can you do that''s fantastic? Who in your opinion is a great bass player, or who else would fit in with this band? Honestly, your comment makes me shudder......
-
Just fantastic!

@drumwraith You're probably a nice guy and I'm not out to flat out insult you,but calling DL a "weak player" earns you the jackass of the week award. He's not even mediocre,he's a world class musician.I suggest you listen to his playing throughout his years with SM,and then come back and print your retraction...we forgive easily.

@RogerBiggerstaff exactly my point...Dave Larue should be playing with those guys, not Steve Morse, Jerry Goodman and Rod Morgenstein. If you put those guys on this level.....I don't know what else to say except let's enjoy the music and I'll delete my original comment

You're kidding right? Dave LaRue is one of the best bass players out there(Satriani, Moore, Petrucci, etc.. all seem to think he's pretty decent), and Van Romaine is no slouch either.
-
@wsmc723 Neither....just a loyal Dregs fan since the mid 70's...Jerry Goodman longer than that. I just don't like to see weak players like DL up there with these monsters. It's ok with me if that doesn't suit you...this is youtube, where folks regularly resort to name-calling

@drumwraith are you just being silly or are you a moron?
